Established in 1963, is the UK Branch of SAIT Group. It is recognised as a quality abrasive manufacturer supplying products to industrial professionals for all applications relating to the processing of metal, wood, stone and building materials, together with a complete range of products suitable for body shop and car accident repair. Hermes Abrasives Ltd was founded in 1985 as the subsidiary of Hermes Schleifmittel GmbH & Co. KG, Hamburg, Germany. Since then we have significantly increased our production facilities and market penetration.
Today the Colchester location is an important part of the Hermes Group, delivering to our customers a high level of customer care, matched by technical excellence in both our product and support services. Using the quality and performance of Hermes Abrasives products we have optimised successfully the grinding processes of many of our customers improving efficiency and finish.
